The Hoyt Pro Defiant Turbo is a 2017 compound-bow model from Hoyt’s Defiant series. It uses an aluminium riser, UltraFlex split limbs, and Hoyt’s DFX Turbo Cam & ½ system. The Turbo version was designed around higher arrow-speed performance while retaining the Defiant series’ focus on stability and a controlled shooting cycle.

Design Overview
The DFX Turbo Cam & ½ system is the primary feature distinguishing the Turbo model from the standard Pro Defiant. Hoyt paired the cams with pre-loaded UltraFlex limbs, with the design intended to provide a longer-feeling string angle at full draw than the relatively compact axle-to-axle measurement might suggest. The Defiant platform also incorporated Hoyt's Pro-Lock limb-pocket system and a redesigned riser intended to contribute to stiffness and stability.
The 2017 Pro Defiant Turbo was positioned as the speed-oriented model in the Pro Defiant range, with the same 33" class platform and 6" brace height but a higher advertised IBO speed than the standard Pro Defiant.
Note: Individual bows can differ depending on their exact cam/module configuration, draw length, draw weight, and setup, so the specifications above should be treated as the manufacturer's/model-level specifications rather than measurements of a particular second-hand bow.
